SMALL GROUPS
LIFE TOGETHER IN COMMUNITY.
We were never meant to do life alone. We were designed for community. For relationships. For friendship. That's what we seek to do here at Crucible, by creating spaces for people to do life together in the shape of small groups.
When we look at Acts 2, the early church, set an example for what community looked like. They met daily. That is probably not very practical for the 21st century church, because of how busy life is in a major city like Vancouver. But, we can still learn from the early church in that gathering together was essential.
As a result, our small group ministry all seek to meet regularly on a weekly basis. We offer three small groups that meet at different points of the week, at various times, and locations. Feel free to scroll down on the page and read a little bit on each small group.
We hope that you join us in our efforts to do life together in faith, that we might all grow in the likeness of Christ in our journey with Him.
WHAT IS A SMALL GROUP?
A Small Group is a community where a group of people both from the church community, and new guests gather together for various activities on a weekly basis. Our Small Groups offer space and opportunities throughout the week, for people to meet with each other. All of our small groups revolve around the values of connection, service and growth.
We deeply value relationships and the opportunities to share meals around the table together and break bread, as well as serve our city and be engaged in some way, and seek to create space to explore and experience God’s presence and love through communal learning in the Scriptures together. Everyone is welcome to do life together!

MONDAYS @ 8PM
MEETS ON ZOOM
Our Monday Small Group (a.k.a. Bravo) meets year round, weekly every Monday on Zoom. There are various activities offered ranging from Bible and Book Studies, to Games Nights. Join us as we seek to do life together.

MEETS IN VANCOUVER
Our Friday Small Group, also known as Ekklesia, from the Greek word which means “Called Out”. We meet every Friday night with the exception of the last Friday of every month, which is a break.
Ekklesia seeks to do life together as community is vital in a world where so many journey through life and faith alone. Join us and get involved in the deeper and broader life of the church through small groups.

ONCE PER MONTH @ 9:30AM
Our Young Families Small Group meets once a month. This is a small group with young families and young children. If you are a young family with young children, please contact us for more details and information about the Small Group.
Child care is provided, so that parents can connect and have a little bit of sharing time.
