There are millions of people in hard to reach places with limited or restricted access who need to hear the saving grace of Jesus. They are often poor, illterate, isolated, politically oppressed and disenfranchised. The only way to reach them is through radio. This is why programming broadcast that goes hand-in-hand with self-powered radio distribution is such a priority still in an internet connected world.

Have you ever looked through a kaleidescope?  As a child I have always been captivated by the beauty of peering through a kaleidescope.  The beautiful combination of color and light dancing in ever unique geometric patterns is absolutely … stunning.  Look at it!  What captivated me as a child still captures my imagination today. But in actual fact this geometric beauty is nothing more than a random collection of colored plastic bits and pieces… scraps that are nearly worthless in value.

When looked through the lens of a kalediescope against the light, these colored plastic shavings form this mesmerizing pattern of beauty.  This is the same with our lives.  Only when we view our lives through the lens of faith, hope and love, will our brokenness and neediness become a unique work of beauty.  What seems worthless in our lives have extraordinary value in God’s plan for you, because He paid a ransomed with a heavy price for your release.

Like a kalediescope that is designed to be viewed from one end through its lens.  When viewed from the wrong end, our lives are nothing more than random bits and pieces of neediness, failures and tragedies.  Crucible is about people helping each other live by seeing their lives through the lens of faith, hope and live against the God’s plan for you.  We are living to know
